So tired :D
I just arrived back to Montreal after spending more than a day in planes and airports. My trip to Kyoto is over and I will cherish my memories of BitSummit 2014. I got to meet our artist Monaka in person for the first time and talk to amazing Japanese developers and fans. Oh, and after those amazing 3 days, we also manage to win the Narrative Design Award too :D
Enjoy the following pictures!
The Girl and the Robot was at the IGDA Montreal DemoNight
Last January Olga and I took the stage to show The Girl and the Robot to the Montreal gaming community. Our goal was simple, not break a leg; and we are happy to say that we accomplished that goal! Below are some pictures and the video of the event (skip to 00:28:40 for our part), enjoy!
Eiko finishes The Robot’s Theme!
Hello fine people!
Today Eiko just finished another brilliant piece for our game: The Robot’s Theme (working title). This song is suppose to reflect the pure strength and courage of the Robot. Look forward to the complete version later in the official sound track!

The Queen’s concept art completed!
A Study of The Girl and the Robot Architecture (Part 1)
Happy new year everyone!
For the first post of the new year, I wanted to introduce the french artist Nicolas Amoroso. Soon after our successful Kickstarter, Nicolas loved our game and offered to help for a short while with the concept and architecture of our castle.
Since Nicolas specialty is landscape, he can help us with the architecture of the remaining areas (the castle town, the royal quarters and the maze). Right now, he is working on the castle town. Enjoy his sketches and feel free to comment!
Oh and one last thing, we will be presenting our game at Demo Night of IGDA Montreal January 28; make sure to check us out if you are around the area!
