First post! Showing off prototype!

[originally posted October 5 2011]

Hello and welcome to the first post!

I made this blog to bring exposure to my video game project. As of now, I’m the only one working on it, but I’m always looking for some talent to join my team. I already started working on it for a few months now, so I’ll start by just showing already made concept arts and videos in the next few post.

The game is about a girl trapped in a castle. She discovers an old antique robot that she can control remotely. She uses the robot to clear puzzles, create paths and defeat enemies.

Let’s start of by showing the very first prototype I made showing off the core mechanic of the game. This was done with Unity 3D.

The core mechanic is the switch feature between the girl (red block)  and the robot (blue block). The player can switch between the two characters at any time to clear a puzzle. Since both characters have different abilities, the player need to use both characters effectively in order to progress in the game.
